South Africa’s upcoming election brings small change for now: The ANC will win, the DA will likely take the Western Cape, and COPE will do well to grab 15% of the national vote. The difference between this election and the previous three is that there’s a generation of young South Africans who have grown up post-94, and will be voting that way, too. South African politics is slowly maturing, and it’ll come of age yet. The irony is that some politicians may never do the same.
